More Singles than Ever
The U.S. Bureau of the Census has just published this year’s American Community Survey which reveals that in 2005, 55.2 million households, only 47% of the nation's 111.1 million households, were residence to married couples, including those with and without children. So, married couples, whose numbers have been declining for decades as a proportion of American households, are now in the minority.
Hmmm, perhaps this means it would be wise to include more social events at your conferences to help draw a larger crowd.
